of course you don't, nobody does apparently.

We have gone through 4 porters in such a short time. They've only lasted 2-3 weeks before they quit. We just hired another dude today but if things keep going the same way, we'll have a spot open soon lol. It's not hard work, just move cars around, wash them, drop off and pick up cars. If you are in the Houston area, keep an eye out for an open spot.

If I didn't have a mortgage and two car payments, this would be my job. I would go to work, every single day with a smile so large my cheeks will hurt. Then I will return home, with such pleasure of the day's work that I will come to my wife and make her dinner. Yes that is how great my life would be.

ahhh! damn your quick lol :] I'm in parts now but was a tech here a couple of years. These are cars and all but it's different in the shop. This is a business and these thing brake...... a lot! Porters are important dude, they help with the little atuff around here. I'll see you here in Houston :]

it's not too bad buddy. I'm sure you'll pick it up quick. For real though since you're in the area i'll keep you in touch. Nobody is applying here and the porters at Aston and Lotus don't last too long. It's not the best paying job but you get to be around these awesome cars all day also.

as techs we drive the vehicles the right way to deliver to the customers completely ready in everyday. As a porter... just move them around here. Oh and our Lotus cars also :]

Well having a driver license to start, i'm sure you do. When I was a tech at Lexus in San Antonio we had a part timer that was a senior in high school. Try and apply some where near you buddy. It's a neat little job for enthusiasts.

Thanks, and yes I do have my license. I was hoping at my local ferrari dealership they would maybe have something (an idea though of only because of Demuros book) and I talked with the manager for a while about cars, but sadly they had nothing. I think I'll try the Audi dealership, and then the Jag dealership next.

well... yeah kinda. We have one of those matte black limited edition V12 Vantage, yes, number 007/200 :] Well, it wasn't selling so we ordered the factory sports exhaust and installed it. Ohhh man does it sound good.

I'm just letting you know that these peeps haven't really lasted long and the position might be coming open soon. Just apply with Mike the service manager. at least be on the list.
